After the mauling incident happened to comedian-actor Vhong Navarro last January 22, 2014 in Forbeswood Condominium Fort Bonifacio Taguig, persons behind the case Deniece Cornejo along with her rumored boyfriend Cedric Lee and his business partners, continuous to make trend in social media.
As “It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro released from the hospital to where he was confined due to his bad condition, still he never give up fighting his case against the prime suspect of the beaten incident Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee.
Regarding to that issue, there’s a speculation arise that Cedric Lee has a hidden relationship with Deniece Cornejo which is more than a friend, yet both of them denied that speculation and also emphasized that they were just friends.
However, to give answer with that speculation, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) released the new CCTV footage which after the mauling incident early morning of January 23, 2014, 22-year-old Deniece Cornejo caught smiling and p(–foul word(s) removed–)ionately kissed by the businessman Cedric Lee inside the elevator of her condo unit.
Due to this matter, the new CCTV released by NBI according to Navarro’s lawyer Atty. Alma Mallongga, “shows Cedric Lee being “very affectionate” towards Deniece Cornejo, which means that they may have a deeper relationship than what they have publicly admitted.”

Meanwhile, Cedric Lee’s spokesman Raymond Fortun said in regard with the newly released CCTV, “Maybe it’s just me, but it looks like the girl didn’t even want to be kissed. Others will think otherwise. What matters is, again, what I PERSONALLY KNOW,” and furthermore he added, “I have met with Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee in a meeting and over dinner. Di ko nakita nor naramdaman na close sila. For me, this is another non-issue because it does not prove or disprove the parties’ version of events that night.”
