Kapamilya host and actor Vhong Navarro returns to Buzz ng Bayan for an exclusive interview on Sunday, February 9, 2014 wherein he asks for forgiveness from his girlfriend because of his “unfaithfulness” after an incident involving him and the controversial model Deniece Cornejo.
The 37-year-old Vhong Navarro apologized not only to Tanya Bautista, his boyfriend for six years, but also to the family of his partner whom he personally reached out after the incident at a condo unit in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Vhong Navarro was quoted as saying during the interview “Lagi ko namang tinanong [kung mahal pa niya ako]. Nung mga unang tinatanong ko siya, hindi magsasabi. Naiintindihan ko po ‘yun. Kinausap ko din po ‘yung mommy niya at mga kapatid niya. Humingi din po ako ng tawad sa kanila. Nakakatuwa din po na pinagbibigyan po nila ako, parang second chance,” he said.
The comedian and actor Vhong Navarro is so grateful and fortunate to have someone like Tanya Bautista, who still though about him before considering her own feelings.
Vhong Navarro stated: “Ito yung pinaka-napaka down sa buhay ko na pinagdaanan pero until now nandiyan pa rin siya. Talagang dapat siguro hindi na maulit. Hinding hindi na mauulit na may gawin pa akong ganun ulit. Dapat maging faithful ako talaga,” he said.
The It’s Showtime co-host also revealed during the interview with Boy Abunda that his relationship with Tanya Bautista is now getting stronger than ever and thanked his girlfriend for granting him a second chance with their relationship.
Vhong uttered the following statement: “Gusto ko lang sabihin sa kanya na paulit-ulit, I’m really really sorry. I’m really really sorry and maraming maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ulit ng pangalawang pagkakataon, sa sobrang pagmamahal at pag-aalaga niya sa akin. Salamat at mahal na mahal ko siya,” he said.
The actor who became a victim of a mauling incident involving businessman Cedric Lee and model Deniece Cornejo called on the attention of his two sons and explained to them his mistake.
Vhong Navarro was quoted “Nakakahiya kasi alam kong nagkamali ako sa girlfriend ko. Siyempre pinaliliwanag ko ang kamalian ko na huwag nilang gayahin… nahihiya ako kasi nagawa ko ‘yun at ayaw kong gawin nila ‘yun. ‘Yun ang lagi kong pinapaliwanag sa kanila,” he said.
The co-host and comedian was so emotional during the Buzz ng Bayan interview, he said is blessed that his two sons, Fredriek “Bruno” and Isaiah “Yce” Navarro. Vhong was quoted saying “Gusto ko din humingi ng sorry kasi sa mga panahong ito, alam ko gusto nilang mamasyal, sama sama kaming mag-iikot. Pero salamat kasi mas nananaig ngayon ‘yung pag-iintindi sa akin na dapat ako yung umiintindi sa kanila. Salamat kasi naniniwala sila sa akin. Salamat na nagtitiwala sila sa akin,” he said.
