A victory by the San Mig in their 8 pm encounter gives the coach Tim Cone-mentored squad its second straight trip to the finals after reaching same stature in the last Governor’s cup, which it eventually prevailed over Petron.

Bragging a 3-2 lead, the Mixers just need to pounce on what they are doing right in this Manila Cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ico affair, which is playing tremendous defense in keeping games low-scoring, to finish the series off.

The Kings on the other hand should display their never-say-die attitude once again in this do-or-die situation. The crowd favorite team must draw big games from its main gunners Mark Caguioa, Japeth Aguilar and LA Tenorio, who committed costly mistakes last time out, to force a winner-take-all game 7.

With their backs against the rope, Ginebra should also find an antidote to the lethal duo of Mark Barroca and Justin Melton to salvage its dear life, which was put to peril after its end game lapses in game 5.

Rain or Shine waits the victor of this semifinal pairing to battle in a best-of-seven finals engagement.
