Freddie Aguilar and his controversial 17-year-old wife Jovie Albao is planning to have a baby, but only after his wife finishes her studies in culinary arts. The revelation was made by the iconic signer during an interview with ABS-CBN.
Although the 60-year-old Freddie Aguilar wanted to have a baby with his younger wife, he noted, however, that they are currently prioritizing the studies of Jovie Albao.

The “Anak” singer was quoted as saying “Napag-usapan namin ‘yong pagkakaroon ng baby,” said Aguilar. The singer will turn 61 next month but he has six children already from his past relationship.
Jovie Albao on her part agreed with their decision of having a baby and complete their family but her decision of finishing her studies is firm enough. During the interview, Jovie was quoted “Ang gusto ko lang matapos pag-aaral ko, matulungan ko si Freddie, matulungan ko magulang ko.” she said.
Freddie Aguilar and his then 16-year-old girlfriend were married in Maguindanao last November 22, 2013, in a Islamic rites, a week before Jovie Albao’s 17th birthday.
The couple had been facing criticisms from various sectors over their relationship, before their marriage the revelation of Freddie Aguilar having a 16-year-old girlfriend became one of the most popular topics online and emerged as the top trending topics on various social networking sites.
