The beaten comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro will meet his lady friend who was allegedly one of the brains behind the mauling incident happened last January 22, 2014 which hospitalized Navarro.
According to the Department of Justice, Vhong and Deniece may face each other at the Department of Justice this coming Valentine’s Day. The announcement was made after DOJ’s panel of investigators issued a subpoena ordering Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee, Ferdinand Guerero and Zimmer Rance are requested to appear at the DOJ.
The Deniece Cornejo and company subpoena is for Vhong Navarro’s complaint for serious illegal detention, serious physical injury, grave threats, grave coercion, illegal arrest and blackmail.
The Department of Justice also ordered the group of Cedric Lim to submit their counter-affidavit. The DOJ also announced that the members of the investigating panel are (–foul word(s) removed–)istant State Prosecutor Olivia Torrevillas, Hazel Decena-Valdez and Mari Elvira Herrera.
Deniece Cornejo also filed a case against Vhong Navarro, which Prosecutor Claro Arellano ordered consolidated with the case of Vhong Navarro and will be handled by the same panel of prosecutors, however, there is no information if both cases will be heard on the same date.
