A regular student Marie Pellejo was recently announced as winner on Trend Micro video contest, as implemented by Web Security Company Trend Micro, a program which promote responsible behavior helping other teens become aware, as she revealed her personal story engaging in social media sites including Friendster, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
As Marie Pellejo was entertained with this kind of stuffs, she wasn’t aware that revealing herself to the public without hiding any personal details for her own, such as her address, full name, age, birthday, and even her mobile number, will lead to distraction.
Way back three years ago, Marie Pellejo was 13-year-old when she start connecting with other people through social media sites which she knows and doesn’t know, and she don’t even care what other people may see and think about her as she update her personal life.
In regard with this, Marie Pellejo share her past experience with the stalker that always followed her on school which also her schoolmate and took action by means of telling her parents that strange and horrifying feeling.
Meanwhile, through joining Trend Micro video contest Marie Pellejo shared some of her tips to her fellow teen in-order to protect themselves away from the stalkers.
