April Mariz “Epey” Herher was declared as the grand winner on the highly popular noontime segment “That’s My Tomboy” on It’s Showtime during its grand finals on Saturday, February 1, 2014, featuring 39 grand finalists.
Aspiring singer Epey Herher won the much coveted title during the live finale of “It’s Showtime” hit segment, “Thats My Tomboy.”
That’s My Tomboy grand finals dominated on micro-blogging site Twitter with the hashtag #thatsmytomboygrandfinals making it as the trending topic being talked about by netizens following the finale.
Contestant No. 10 Epey Herher from Lubang, Occidental Mindoro received a total of P300,000 cash prize after she bested other 39 grand finalists.
The top 5 finalist were asked the same question given by Vice Ganda wherein Epey Herher excelled during the Question & Answer Portion.
Here’s the question for “That’s My Tomboy” Top 5 Finalists given by Vice Ganda: “Para sa iyo ano ang kahulugan ng tagumpay.”
Following as the first Runner up was Kim Valierie Oriencio garnering P200, 000 cash prizes, 2nd Runner up Isabel “Sky” Tiotico who received Php100,000 and Phao Faraon & Kim Claudine Andaya who tied as 3rd Runner ups.
“Nagpapasalamat ako po ako kay Papa God. Hindi po ako nagdasal na sana ako’y manalo, pinagdasal ko po ay manalo ang pinakadeserving. Nagpapasalamat din po ako sa ‘It’s Showtime’ para sa pagbibigay sa amin ng pagkakataon na maipakita ang mga ‘T-Boom’ na karapat-dapat kaming tanggapin sa society,” Epey Herher said.
