The January 2014 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) or the Teachers board exam results, List of Passers, Topnotchers (Top 10 Passers), Top Performing Schools and Performance of schools will be added here as soon as the PRC and the Board of Professional Teachers will release the results in a few working days since the last day of exam.
The LET Exam or the Teachers Board Exam Results for January 2014 was conducted last Sunday, January 26, 2014 in various testing centers nationwide which include Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Catarman Norther Samar, Baybay City Leyte, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-tawi.
There are some changes with the January 2014 LET Exam as two additional centers were added in Region 8, with Catarman, Northern Samar and Baybay City, Leyte. The centers were added due to the poor and unstable condition of the buildings and facilities in Tacloban City.
Aside from the additional centers in Region 8, the Zamboanga City, Jolo, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi LET Exam was also re-set to January 2014 due to hostilities and security issues.
The first LET Exam for the year 2014 were consists of two (2) parts for Elementary: General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary: General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).
The LET Exam covered major areas of General Education and Professional Education. The Secondary Teacher has 10 specializations that depends of the chosen course: Filipino, English, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies or Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education.)
According to the PRC, the target release date of the January 2014 LET Exam will be on March 9, 2014 or 29 t0 30 working days since the last day of examination.
