Bianca Lapus, the ex-wife of Vhong Navarro issues her official statement with the incident involving her former husband Vhong Navarro, by stating that she is still in shock after seeing photos of the beaten Vhong Navarro.
In a news report posted by ABS-CBN, Bianca Lapus said that she has yet to see Vhong Navarro personally after the incident because she can’t bear seeing her former husband in his current condition.
Vhong Navarro’s ex-wife was quoted as saying in a text message “Parang sinasaksak ang puso ko. I can’t watch the interview,” Lapus said after the exclusive interview of “Buzz ng Bayan” with Vhong. “I haven’t seen Vhong since the incident kasi di ko talaga kaya sa picture pa lang.” she texted.
Bianca Lapus admitted that she can’t help but cry and be worried for Vhong, whom she described as a “good man.”
She added further that “I’m really not good right now. It’s been days since the incident happened and I’m still in shock. Hindi ko mapigilang umiyak, matakot at mag-alala. I’m almost 4 months pregnant now kaya I’m resting kasi di ko talaga kaya ang stress at pag-aalala,” she said. “Di ko matanggap ang nangyari sa kanya, e mabuting tao ‘yun at walang kaaway.”
Bianca Lapus also revealed the currently her son with Vhong Navarro, Yce, is away from them, hiding in fear due to the alleged threats by the men who attacked Vhong.
Although Bianca Lapus and Vhong Navarro were already separated they remained as friends. Bianca Lapus expressed her unwavering support for Vhong and told him to remain strong amid the difficult situation.
Bianca Lapus also thanked all the fans and supporters of Vhong Navarro who are praying for his speedy recovery.
“In behalf of our family thank you for all the overflowing messages of love, support and prayers for Vhong especially during this difficult time. Huwag natin siya iiwan at husgahan. Isa siyang mabuting tao. Together let us pray for his fast recovery safety and justice.”
