Kapamilya comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro will undergo surgery next week based upon the latest medical report from the hospital where he is currently confined after the brutal attack that happened inside a condo in Bonifacio Global City.

In an interview Yahoo Philippines, the manager of Vhong Navarro confirmed that it will take time for the host to recover. He was quoted as saying “It will take time before he recovers,” Roño said in an email.
Director Chito Roño also added that Vhong “was not able to give any money” when the men who attacked him tried to extort some cash from the actor. In a news report by GMA News, Vhong’s attackers numbered to six people.
Aside from the extortion from the unidentified attackers, Vhong Navarro continues to receive threat via text messages as confirmed by Chito Roño.
