Bagyong Agaton January 18 Hourly Update & Storm Signals

Philippine weather bureau, PAGASA released the Weather Bulletin Number Four for Tropical Cyclone Warning, the Bagyong Agaton at around 5:00 AM, on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

According to PAGASA, the Location of Center of the Tropical Depression is located at 170 km Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 175 km East of Surigao City with coordinates at 9.7°N 127.1°E.

The Bagyong Agaton has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West at 05 kph. PAGASA forecasts that on Sunday Morning, the Tropical Depression is estimated to be at 70 km North of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

On Monday morning it will be at 65 km North of Davao City and on Tuesday morning, January 21, 2014, the Tropical Depression is expected to be at 90 km South of Cotabato City.

PAGASA also reported that the estimated rainfall amount is from 5-15 mm per hour (moderate-heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. It will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Central Visayas and the rest of the Eastern Visayas.
