LPA “Agaton” January 14 Updates 5AM-5PM (PAGASA Bulletin)

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather bulletin today, January 14, 2014 at around 5:00 AM. The LPA continue is the cause of heavy flooding and landslides in some parts of the Mindanao Region.

PAGASA reported that at 4:00 AM tody, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 60 kilometers North of Butuan City with a coordinates at 9.4ºN, 125.3ºE. The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affects Northern and Central Luzon.

Here’s the Weather Forecast of PAGASA:

Mindanao and the Regions of Bicol, Eastern and Central Visayas will experience Cloudy Skies with Moderate to Occ(–foul word(s) removed–)ionally Heavy Rainshowers and Thunderstorms, which may trigger Flash Floods and Landslides.

CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the rest of the Visayas will have Cloudy Skies with Light to Moderate Rainshowers and Thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be Cloudy with Isolated Light Rains.

Moderate to Strong Winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the Northeast to Northwest over Mindanao. The Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be Moderate to Rough.
