Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion denies the issue linking her to Azkals star player Phil Younghusband who was separated recently to Angel Locsin. The 28-year-old KC Concepcion was even clueless as to how the rumors started linking her to Angel Locsin’s ex-boyfriend.
The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, addressed the rumors during an interview with ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe, shortly after a press conference held on Thursday December 12, for the upcoming movie “Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story.”
KC Concepcion denies the allegations that she was involved with the recent break up of Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin. The actress clarified that she spoke to Phil Younghusband during a televised interview more than a year ago.
The actress was quoted as saying “Honestly, ang tagal ko na ring naririnig ‘yan,” she said. KC added further that “Ayoko na nga mag-comment about it, kasi nakakapagod na rin ‘yung tsismis na wala namang pinaggagalingan.”
KC Concepcion continued, “Ako, unang-una, wala akong… Hindi ko siya kilala. I mean, once ko lang siya nakausap siguro, which is ‘yung interview pa with ‘yung girlfriend niya at the time.” she stated.
Due to the rumors linking KC to Phil Younghusband, KC called the attention of whosoever started that rumors to clarify the issue. Some netizens suspected that the rumors is a supposed publicity stunt for Angel Locsin’s upcoming series.
Angel Locsin is set to make her drama series comeback via “The Legal Wife,” which will also feature Maja Salvador, Jericho Rosales and JC de Vera.
