The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) wrote a letter to the DILG Secretary Manuel A. Roxas II dated November 27, 2013, pertaining to the implementation of Section 74 of Republic Act No. 7166.
Attached to the official letter from the COMELEC is the list of local officials who failed to submit their respective Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCEs).
The COMELEC have already issued an order to vacate the positions held by the elected officials which are listed by the COMELEC on their official correspondents to the DILG.
