Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin confirmed to the media that she was indeed avoiding Luis Manzano although she stated that she is still in touch with the former boyfriend through text and on the phone.
The 28-year-old Angel Locsin admitted during a interview with ABS-CBN on Tuesday that she avoided Luis Manzano as a sign of respect to her ex-boyfriend Phil Younghusband, after rumors surfaced online that Luis is the third party behind her break up with Phil.
The rumors started linking Angel to his former boyfriend Luis Manzano when both celebrities admitted last October that Angel Locsin was separated with Phil Younghusband while Luis Manzano ended his relationship with Jennylyn Mercado.
Angel Locsin does not want her separation with Phil Youngbushand to be colored by intrigue, she stated that “Ina-avoid ko rin muna kasi ayaw ko ng issue… Ayaw ko muna haluan ng kung ano man.” Angel stated when asked why she avoided Luis Manzano.
Angel Locsin also confirmed that although she is now separated with Azkals’ striker Phil Younghusband romantically they continue to remain friends after their split because they parted ways amicably.
The star of the upcoming Kapamilya series “My Legal Wife” was also asked to react on Younghusband’s alleged statement that he still loves her, the actress said “Baka matagal na iyon, inulit niyo na lang. Hindi ako makapag-react kasi hindi ko pa nababasa. Hindi ko pa alam ang sasabihin ko ngayon.” Angel said.
Although Angel Locsin did not answer the questions thrown at him, she did not hid her surprise when she was told about the football player’s supposed statement.
