Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project Launched by Marian Rivera

Kapuso actress Marian Rivera will be launching a post-Yolanda initiative that will help the fishermen affected by the super typhoon in the Visayas to regain their livelihood through her “Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project.”

According to a report posted by entertainment website Pep.ph, for the past few projects of Marian she did not wish to reveal it to the press but not this time because she wants the m(–foul word(s) removed–) media to get involved with her latest project asking them to write about it.

The main purpose of the “Kapuso Adopt-A-Bangka Project” is to help the residents affected in an island in Cebu that was heavily affected by super typhoon Yolanda. The announcement of the 29-year-old Marian Rivera was held during a dinner at Victorino’s Restaurant in Sct. Rallos, Quezon City on December 8, 2013.

Marian Rivera revealed during a gathering that she will be working with certain Oliver Amoroso and Anna Marie Tan for the project. According to the Kapuso actress they have conducted a survey and decided that they will provide with the fishermen’s needs, boats for livelihood.

Based upon the survey conducted by Marian’s group, the boat that they will provide with deserving families is worth P15,000 to P30,000. The “Adopt-A-Bangka Project” will be coordinated with the GMA Kapuso Foundation for the implementation.
