The fanpage of Anne Curtis (Annebisyosaz) has more more than 1.2 million followers, enough to get the attentions of netizens. Netizens tried to visit the accompanying link posted on the status update but it will be redirected to a certain website which is not related to the news.

The link points to a third party website BoomCareers.com, a website about job hunting and job advertisements. The website tried to used a deceitful tactics to generate views for the site.
Korina Sanchez’ photo was also attached to the fake news, to make it look real. As of the time of posting there is no clear reports with regards to the current status of Korina Sanchez, there are rumors that she was suspended for one or two weeks while other reporters posted that Korina was suspended for one year.
The prominent broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez also refuted the rumors by saying that she was just taping for a special report on the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda that hits central Visayas during the past weeks.
