Miss Earth 2013 Candidates Press Presentation Photos at F1 Hotel

A total of ninety candidates were presented to the media during a press presentation on Thursday, November 21, at the F1 Hotel Manila in Taguig City with each candidates vowed to protect and preserve Mother Earth.

The 13th edition of Miss Earth’s theme is “International Year for Water Cooperation,” focusing into the beauty of the Philippines. Miss Earth President Ramon Monzon was quoted as saying the presentation, “The Philippines is naturally beautiful – the bodies of water, the land forms, and the Filipinos’ warm and hardworking dispositions are the perfect components for a successful eco-tourism campaign,” Miss Earth President Ramon Monzon said.

Executive Vice President Lorraine Shuck on her part stated that breathtaking eco-tourism spots in the tropical paradise islands of the Philippines will be featured during the worldwide telecast of the 13th edition of the environment-driven beauty pageant this coming December 7, 2013.

The official 90 candidates of Miss Earth will engage in various environmental awareness and conservation activities during the candidates stay in the Philippines.

The 26-year-old Miss Angelee delos Reyes will represent the Philippines in the Miss Earth 2013. The reigning Miss Earth Teresa Fajksova of Czech Republic will crown her successor during the coronation night in December.

Aside from the Miss Earth 2013 crown, Miss Earth candidates will also try to capture the other titles such as Miss Photogenic and Miss Eco-Beauty.
