The Philippine Navy through the Naval Forces Central personnel are working silently together with Bantayan islands’ Local Government Units (LGU’s) in delivering the relief goods to the people of the northernmost island of Cebu Province.

Bantayan is composed of three municipalities namely, Bantayan, Sta. Fe, and Madridejos, the three municipalities have already received some relief goods with the help of the Philippine Navy who are working night and day away from the media coverage, who focused mostly in the province of Leyte.
Philippine Navy personnel have done their best to help not only the main island of Bantayan but also delivered various relief goods in numerous islets surrounding Bantayan Island.
Bantayan Island is one of the worst-affected areas by super typhoon Yolanda, the fourth landfall of the the super typhoon happened in Bantayan which caused enormous devastation to properties and livelihood in the popular beach destination in Cebu Province.
Relief operations by various international organizations such as the Germans, Swiss, British and other nationalities have already arrived in the island. Aside from the Philippine Navy’s help in Bantayan, the HMS Daring of the British Royal Navy are also conducting relief operations with the help of their modern helicopters and sophisticated equipment.
