Sharon Cuneta Donated P10 Million to Yolanda Victims

Local celebrities started to share their hard-earned income through various donations given to foundations who are currently helping the victims of the super typhoon Yolanda in the Visayas.

The Megastar Sharon Cuneta pledge P10 million for victims of typhoon Yolanda, P5 million each to two organizations, the Aboitiz Foundation and TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation.

Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis on her part sold her personal belongings in a garage sale held on Sunday, November 10, where she earned almost P400,000 which she will donate to typhoon victims through the World Vision Philippines.

Well-known Filipino singers, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Ogie Alcasid are set to hold an online auction and sale of their personal items like signature bags, shoes, clothes, and watches for the benefit of the victims of super typhoon Yolanda.

Presidential sister Kris Aquino donated a total of P400,000 for the victims of Yolanda through Ormoc Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez who revealed earlier that her families in Ormoc are also victims of the worst Philippines storm in history.

The third most popular television station in the country, TV5 was able to raise a total of more than P30 million during last Sunday night during its live airing of the “Tulong Kapatid, Sulong Kapatid” telethon for the victims of Yolanda.
