Miss Venezuela’s Gabriela Isler was crowned as the winner of the Miss Universe 2013 title during the coronation night held on Saturday night (Moscow Time), defeating a total of 85 other candidates from various parts of the world at a glittering ceremony held in Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
The 2012 winner of the Miss Universe, Miss Olivia Culpo of the United States of America crowned Miss Gabriela Isler after the declaration of winners in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant.
The Top 5 Finalist of the 62nd edition of the Miss Universe were Miss Ecuador, Miss Brazil, Miss Venezuela, Miss Philippines and Miss Spain. During the final question and answer portion of the competition, only Ara Arida of the Philippines have spoken in English and did not use any interpreter, the rest used their native languages.
One of the highlights of the Miss Universe 2013 Coronation Night was the display of the million-dollars swimsuit created by Yamamay, one of the major sponsor of the Miss Universe.
