During the second round of the draft pick, GlobalPort picked former Ateneo forward Nico Salva at 11th pick overall, he was well-known as the one who engaged in a Twitter war against FEU’s Terrence Romeo earlier this year.

Nico Salva criticized Romeo for being a “Ball hog” during the FEU’s loss to National University in the second round of the UAAP Season 76 tournament, saying that Romeo should p(–foul word(s) removed–) the ball more. Romeo fired back and confronted Salva on Twitter by saying that, “Bakit di ikaw and maglaro?” he said.

The former Ateneo Blue Eagles, Nico Salva, who is now the team mate of Romeo in GlobalPort, sadi that the Twitter row was now in the past and he intends to move forward with his new teammate. Terrence Romeo on his part also stated that he is also moving on from their Twitter row, and there’s nothing personal between him and Salva.

Aside from Romeo, Garcia, Holstein and Salva, GlobalPort also added Jopher Custodio and LA Revilla who was from Ginebra in the Third Round of the PBA Rookie Draft 2013.
