PBA Rookie Draft 2013 Complete Results List of Rookies

The Philippine Basketball (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation have already named the newest members of the PBA for the 2013-2014 Season as the PBA Rookie Draft was held successfully on Sunday, November 3, 2013. at the Robinson’s Place in Ermita, Manila.

Cebuano’s Greg Slaughter became the first pick overall of the 2013 PBA Rookie Draft as he was chosen by Barangay Ginebra. The acquisition of Slaughter by Ginebra will give the PBA’s crowd favorite team to experience once again having a dominant big man in the league after the glory days of Marlo Aquino ended.

This year’s No. 2 draft pick went to Governor’s Cup champion team, San Mig Coffee Mixers who got the service of big man Ian Sangalan, while the No. 3 pick went to Rain or Shine getting the service of Letran’s big man Raymond Almazan.

An unexpected turn of events took place when the No. 4 pick was traded by Barako Bull to Ginebra for Rico Maierhofer and Willie Wilson, the Kings then selected former Arellano standout James Forester. Barako Bull also traded their No. 5 pick for Mark Isip and Magi Sison from Petron, the Boosters in turn sent to Globalport for sophomore Yousef Taha, the Batang Pier then selected FEU star Terrence Romeo.
