The 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III made a nationwide statement regarding the current issues affecting the Filipino people. President Aquino delivered his “Address to the Nation” on October 30, 2013.

The speech made by the President was shown simultaneously by the Philippines largest television network and even radio stations nationwide at around 7:45 PM of Wednesday night, October 30, 2013.
President Aquino also made a presentation regarding the Priority Development Development (–foul word(s) removed–)istance Fund (PDAF) or the Pork Barrel Fund. The President clarified the issue between the PDAF and the Disbursement Acceleration Program which according to the President came from the additional collection of taxes and honest governance of various GOCC’s.
The President also stressed the difference between those corrupt officials who keeps on spending the people’s money and those who are serving the people wholeheartedly.
