The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) released on Saturday, October 26, 2013 the list of suggested retail prices (SRP) for candles a week before the highly-anticipated All Saints Day 2013.
According to Consumer Welfare and Business Regulation Group Officer in Charge Victorio Mario Dimagiba, the DTI met with candle manufacturer to ensure the price and supply of candles remain stable.
Mr. Dimagiba was quoted as saying, “There is no price increase for candle products. The price of candle remains the same compared to last year,” he said. The national government through the DTI, will continue to monitor the price of candles in the next few days. They advised the consumers to check the weight and the price tag of candle products before purchasing.
Here’s the SRP List of Candle Prices Released by DTI:
- 20 pcs. pack of white Liwanag Esperman # 3 = P 43.75
- 20 pcs. pack of Liwanag Esperma # 5 = P 60.75
- 4-pc pack of Liwanag Esperman # 24 = P 122.75
- 10 pcs of white Manila Wax Esperma # 2 = P 44.75 per pack
- 20 pcs of white Manila Wax Esperma # 3 = P 54.75
- White Esperma # 14 = P 44.75 for every 4 pcs.
- Esperma # 16 = P 49.75 tw0-piece pack
