PMPC Star Awards for Music 2013 List of Winners

The 5th Star Awards for Music by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) was held yesterday night, October 13 at the Solaire Resort in Pasay City. The winners of the 2013 edition of the Star Awards for Music were listed below.

Some of the most well-known OPM artist were named as OPM icons namely Freddie Aguilar, Imelda Papin, Dulce, Rey Valera, Rico J. Puno, Sampaguita, and Vic Sotto. Kapamilya stars Sarah Geronimo got her third trophy for the Female Recording Artist of the Year, while fellow ABS-CBN artist Jed Madela received the Male Recording Artist of the year for the third straight year.

This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Freddie Aguilar. The 2013 edition of the PMPC Star Awards for Music were hosted by Billy Crawford, Erich Gonzales, KC Concepcion and Xian Lim.
