Stephan Schrock and Etheridge Lead Azkals Line-up for Phil. Peace Cup 2013

The Philippine Azkals will try to defend their title in the upcoming Philippine Peace Cup 2013 to be held in Bacolod City with the participation of Europe-based players particularly Stephan Schrock and Neil Etheridge.

The 27-year-old German-based Stephan Schrock is currently playing with Eintracht Frankfurt who acquired the Fil-German defender from his previous team, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The Philippine Peace Cup falls under FIFA calendar thereby giving the chance for Schrock to suit up for the Philippine Azkals.

Aside from Stephan Schrock, Fulham Goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will be available also together with Jerry Lucena and Rob Gier. The availability of Europe-based players for the Philippines will boost the chances of the country to defend their title.

The tickets of the Philippine Peace Cup are pegged from P50 to P500 and can be bought at TicketWorld, The Planta Hotel and at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.
