The Miss World 2013 was successfully held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia with the Philippines’ Megan Young crowned as the Miss World 2013 winner.
Megan Young won the first-ever Miss World title for the Philippines as she bested 126 other contestants worldwide. The 23-year-old Megan Young was followed by Marine Lorphelin from France.
Miss Ghana’s Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter won third in the pageant. Megan Young’s answer during the Miss World 2013 Question and Answer portion is the most versatile answer given by any contestant.
Megan Young was quoted as saying that, “I treasure a core value of humanity and that guides people why they act the way they do. I will use this to show other people how they can understand each other…as one, we can help society.
