Miss Philippines Megan Young was declared as the ultimate winner in the Miss World Top Model competition as announced by the organizers through the official website of Miss World 2013 on September 28, 2013.
The 23-year-old Megan Young bested a total of nine finalists in the Miss World Top Model competition, the announcement was made a day before the highly-anticipated coronation tomorrow night in Indonesia.
The Miss World 2013 Top Model competition involved walking down the runway and wearing a dress made and design by well-known Indonesian artists. Following Megan Young is Olivia Jordan of the United States followed by France, Ukrained and Brazil.
Megan Young was also ranked fifth, in the Beach Fashion competition while in the multimedia contest she also finished fourth place, garnering a total of three awards in the Challenge Competition.
The Philippine representative chances in the Miss World 2013 finals are high with her inclusion in Challenged Competition, she also ranked second on Wednesday’s results of the Miss World People’s Choice, wherein the winner will go straight to the finals of the Miss World coronation night.
