The September 28 episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya will feature the life story of Cherry Alejandrino, more popularly known as the YouTube sensation, “Elevator Girl.”
Playing the role of Cherry Alejandrino is award-winning actress Merryl Soriano, the daughter of actor and TV host Willie Revillame. The 3o-year-old Merryl Soriano will give life to the struggles and the story behind Cherry’s cheerful attitude, hardwork and dedication as employee of SM Olongapo.
The Cherry Alejandrino MMK Story is directed by Don Cuaresma, written by Mark Duane Angos and researched by Agatha Lee Ruadap. The MMK episode featuring the Elevator Girl, Cherry Alejandrino, will also showcase the talents of Kapamilya stars, Eric Fructuoso, Boboy Garovillo, Dang Cruz, Susan Africa, Jennifer Lee, Perla Bautista and Marikit Morales.
