The 16th overall draft picked by Barako Bull during the 2012 drafting set career-highs in scoring three times last week and jacked his conference averages to 17.0 points, 3.25 rebounds, 4.5 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists, and 1.0 steals per game so far in the Governors Cup.

The former Ateneo Blue Eagles, Emman Monfort scored 25 points on their 104-91 victory over Ginebra. Emman Monfort is considered as one of the most promising point guard in the PBA despite missing the Philippine Cup and the Commissioners Cup due to injuries.

The 5-foot-6 guard beat out Alaska’s Cyrus Baguio and Meralco’s Cliff Hodge for the weekly award given by the PBA scribes.
