Ateneo Blue Eagles head coach Bo Perasol was involved in a near altercation at the end of the UAAP Games against their arch-rival La Salle supporters as he confronted a heckler.
Coach Perasol had to be restrained from going after a heckler, the incident happened when Perasol was leaving the court after the Ateneo’s 64-66 loss when he suddenly rushed at the stands, apparently in rage.
The Ateneo coach pointed at a spectator at the La Salle side of the patron section, who was standing a few rows from the baseline. Coach Bo tried to jump over the baseline barrier, but was prevented by Araneta security and the Ateneo staff.
Cooler heads eventually prevailed as Perasol went to the locker room, while the alleged heckler was escorted out by security
