The Kapamilya stars dominated the recently concluded Gawad Tanglaw awarding ceremony held on Thursday night, August 29, 2013. ABS-CBN stars such as Jericho Rosales and Zanjoe Marudo bagged major awards.
Jericho Rosales won the Best Actor trophy for the movie, “Alagwa.” He shared the award with Dingdong Dantes for Star Cinema’s “One More Try.”

Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo was also named as Best Supporting Actor, for the movie, “One More Try,” he was tied with Allen Dizon for the same award for the movie, “Migrante.”
The Best Actress Award went to Nora Aunor for “Thy Womb,” while Sharmaine Buencamino for “Requieme” and Ria Garcia of “Melodrama Negra” were both named Best Supporting Actress. Eddie Garcia, received the Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw ng Pelikulang Pilipino Award.
