Megan Lynn Young was named as the winner of the Miss World Philippines 2013 during the coronation night held at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Pasay City on Sunday nigh, August 18, 2013.

The former Kapuso and Kapamilya actress made a name for herself when she joined the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 and showcased in several ABS-CBN programs after her stint with GMA-7 as Starstruck alumna.
The 23-year-old Megan Young will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss World 2013 Beauty Pageant to be held in Indonesia this coming September.
