Petron Defeated Ginebra 101-95: First Win for Coach Gee Abanilla

The Petron Blazers made a convincing win over Ginebra Gin Kings which put PBA’s newest coach Gee Abanilla’s first victory in the major league of basketball in the Philippines. Petron defeated Ginebra with the final score at 101-95.

Petron’s Marcio L(–foul word(s) removed–)iter scored 8 of his 23 points in the crucial fourth quarter of the game while their newest recruit Doug Kramer contributed with 17 points for Petron to secure their first win in the PBA Governor’s Cup 2013.

Petron Blaze outscored the usually faster Gin Kings in transition, 17-16. Petron’s import Elijah Millsap topscored for his team with 24 points. Meanwhile Ginebra’s offense came from import Lowhorn who scored with 29 points while veteran guard Mark Caguioa added with 12 points.
