Two of the PBA’s big men, Doug Kramer and Dorian Pena were traded by their respective teams. Petron Blaze Boosters got the service of big man Doug Kramer from Barako Bull while the team sends Dorian Pena and the 2013 second round draft pick to the Energy Colas.
The deal was sent to the Commissioner’s Office last Saturday. The trade was announced by the league on Monday, August 12, 2013.
Dorian Pena had previously worked with the Barako Bull during the 2011-2012 season but he was traded to Petron last year in exchange for Carlo Sharma. Dorian will return to his former team.
With the acquisition of Doug Kramer, Petron will have a young, formidable frontline featuring national team member and rookie sensation Junemar Fajardo who have already proven his worth as one of the best big man in the league.
