Chinese Taipei Defeated Hong Kong 94-55 Remains Unbeaten (Highlights Video)

The Chinese Taipei squad in the FIBA Asia Championships remained unbeatean after their triumph over Hong Kong with the final score at 94-55 during the second round of FIBA Asia 2013 held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

During the first quarter of their match against Hong Kong, the Chinese Taipei squad struggled and tied the game at 19-all but superstar guard Chen Shih-Chieh came to spark in the second quarter with the Taiwanese managing a 19-6 rout in the second quarter to open up a 38-25 lead.

The Chinese Taipei squad controlled the rest of the game, in the third quarter the team scored with 31 points and allowed 11 points only for Hong Kong as they took a 74-43 advantage before the start of the final period.

The Hong Kong squad was led by Shing Yee Fong who scored with 13 points and the lone player for his squad to score in double figures. Hong Kong will take on Jordan on Tuesday. The Chinese Taipei will battle Japan as its next (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment in the tournament.
