Acoustic singer Paolo Onesa proved to himself and to the audience that he is a force to reckon with in The Battle Round of The Voice of the Philippines as he was chosen by Coach Bamboo over the father-and-son duo of Mark and Willy Cordovales.
Rock icon Bamboo once again made a tough decision and opted to retain Paolo Onesa to his team, while Paolo was obviously surprised with the decision of his coach after their performance of the Apo Hiking Society’s cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic song, “Panalangin.”
Coaches Lea and Coach apl.de.ap chose the Cordovales duo but coach Bamboo has the final say. Musician Joey Ayala, the guest coach of Team Bamboo also acknowledged that the Cordovales duo got the advantage because of their “natural harmonies.”
