South Korea Line-Up: FIBA Asia 2013 Championship (Team Preview)

The South Korean basketball line-up for the FIBA Asia Championship 2013 was already revealed as the team is now considered as one of the top contenders of the 27th FIBA Asia tournament. South Korea is bracketed with powerhouse team; China, Iran and Malaysia in Group C during the preliminary round.

South Korean suuperstar guard, Kim Mingoo who stands at 189-cm, will spearhead his team after he brought the national team to a gold medal finish at the 3rd EABA Championship. The 22-year-old Kyonghee University student scored 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists during their gold medal game against China.

Lee Seung-Jun aka Eric Sandrin will served as a naturalized player for South Korea after he was chosen by Korean national coach Yoo Jae-Hak. Korean guard Yang Donggeun is one of the few veteran for the Korean team, at age 32, he will make his fourth appearance in FIBA Asia champions.

Other notable South Korean superstar are Lee Jonghyun, a former member of the South Korean U18 after he lead his team to the championship of the FIBA Asia U18 Championship.
