Filipino contestant of Apprentice Asia, Jonathan Allen Yabut, made it to the Final 2 of the reality series which is a step away from becoming the first winner of the highly anticipated business related show in Asia.
Yabut will be competing against a Singaporean lawyer Atty. Andrea Loh Ern-Yu in the two-part finale which will be aired on the cable channel AXN at 9:00 PM this coming July 24 and 31, 2013. The winner will be decided by Air Asia’s executive Tony Fernandes as the first “apprentice” in Asia.
The UP student Yabut is just one of the two Filipinos who competed in the competition, the other one is Celina Le Neindre, a food and beverage consultant, who only made it to the final six in the competition. According to Yabut he has been a fan of the world’s popular show, “The Apprentice” hosted by Donald Trump since his college days.
During the entire competition from the start up to the finals of the show, the 27-year-old Yabut stated that he did not feel the pressure of competing with older and more experienced players in the reality show.
