DLSU & DepEd Offers Scholarship for Vaugirard Program

One of the leading Philippine university, the De La Salle University is set to award full scholarship grants to 50 “deserving” Public High School graduates under its Vaugirard Scholarship Program (VSP) based upon the announcement made through the Official Gazette of the Philippines.

The scholarship program of the DLSU is a tie-up with the Department of Education, which includes a full waiver on tuition, miscellaneous and other fees during their stay in the University. The program is aligned with the DepEd drive to strengthen public-private parnerships towards achieving Education for All.

DLSU scholars will get a monthly stipend of P10,000 to cover accomodation, food and travel expenses and with cash incentives to be given to those who graduate with Latin honors. The DepEd has already selected a total of 29 public schools nationwide that will serve as testing centers for the DLSU College Admission Test.

The DLSU College Admission Test will be conducted this coming October to November 2013. All graduating public high school students can take the exam for free.
