President Aquino’s Fourth SONA on July 22 Highlights

The Philippine President, President Benigno Aquino III will deliver his 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) this coming July 22, 2013 before the opening of the first regular session of the Sixteenth Congress at the Batasang Pambansa.

The upcoming SONA of the Philippine President will highlight the accomplishment of different department of the government and the results of his promise during SONA 2012. According to a report from Radyo Natin, the President’s speech will tackle mainly on the passage of the laws on Reproductive Health (RH) and Sin Tax.

The President’s support of the controversial RH Bill during the 2012 SONA was one of the most applauded part of his speech especially when he hinted out that he was supporting the bill which according to him will help a lot in the improvement of the Philippine economy.

The President’s State of the Nation Address 2013 will also highlight the success of the Aquino administration in the different aspects of the nation, such as our economic growth, educational progress, sports development, health and environmental issues, the improving justice system, urban poor planning, the Mindanao issues, job creation, and our national security’s modernization program to name a few.

Secretary Ricky Carandang of the Presidential Communications Strategic Planning Office was assigned to prepare the success of the SONA 2013 according to Deputy Presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte.
