According to the Party list group, OFW Family Club, there are at least 10,000 OFW’s in Taiwan loose their job after the Taiwanese government imposed freeze hiring of Filipinos.
During an exclusive interview with news program Bandila on Monday, July 8, 2013, Rep. Seneres confirmed that a total of 10,000 workers have already loose their jobs in Taiwan despite the fact they have job orders and renewals from their respective companies.
The Taiwanese government continued to imposed their freeze hiring which affected thousands of OFW’s working in Taiwan. The Taiwanese government still wants their demands to be completed by the Philippine government before they will lift the freeze hiring.
