Saudi Arabia Extend Amnesty for Undocumented Expats

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extend the grace period for another three months for undocumented foreigners which includes Filipinos, to correct their status in the kingdom or return to their respective countries.

According to the DFA Spokesman, (–foul word(s) removed–)istant Sec. Raul Hernandez, they were informed by the emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y in Riyadh that the grace period for the correction of status for undocumented foreigners in Saudi was extended until November 3, 2013.

The DFA spokesman was quoted further stating that, “Undocumented Filipinos are advised to take advantage of this extension, and immediately proceed to the concerned Saudi government agencies or to seek (–foul word(s) removed–)istance from our emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y and consulate in Saudi Arabia for their repatriation or regularization of their status,” he said.

The different emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y in Saudi Arabia was successful in asking the Saudi government for an extension of the grace period which will end tomorrow, July 3, 2013.
