The former driver turned performer in Japan, Mitoy Yonting made a commendable performance in The Voice of the Philippines on Saturday, June 29, 2013 which made Lea Salonga immediately turned her red chair when she heard the voice of Mitoy.
The 43-year-old Mitoy Yonting was once feature in ANC aside from his guesting with the Kapuso sitcom. Together with his band he also performed in some of the most popular hotels in the country.
Mitoy Yonting made a remarkable performance of the OPM cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ic song “Bakit Ako Mahihiya,” both Bamboo and Lea Salonga turned their red chair but in the end, Mitoy chooses Lea as coach and mentor.
