Filipinos Still Needs Visa to Visit Japan

The Japanese emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y in the Philippines clarified the issue with regards to the issuance of Japanese Visas to the Filipinos. Contrary to previous news surfaced around the internet that Japan allows multiple visa entry, Filipinos still need to get a visa to visit the country.

Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on June 25 saying it is granting multiple entry visas for Filipinos provided that they have the necessary requirements needed. The visa will be valid for 15 days stay in Japan up to 3 years.

Filipinos who wanted to earn their visa to Japan should fulfill certain conditions and who have an ordinary Machine-Readable P(–foul word(s) removed–)port (MRP) meeting International Civil Aviation (ICAO) standards or an ordinary IC p(–foul word(s) removed–)port.

The visa issuance to Filipinos will start from July 1, to further the development of Japan-Philippines exchange. The multiple entry visas is for short-term stay in Japan.
