June 24 Manila Holiday Proclaimed by Malacanang

June 24, 2013 is a Special Non-Working Holiday in the City of Manila as the city will celebrate it’s 442nd Foundation Day anniversary. The proclamation was made by Malacanang via Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr.

The declaration was made through Proclamation No. 604 series of 2013 to give the people of the City of Manila the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion.

This coming Monday, June 24, 2013, the City of Manila will mark the 442nd Foundation Day Anniversary of the Philippines’ capital city. Secretary Ochoa declared it as a special non-working holiday by authority of the Philippine President.
