Marc Nicolas: Filipino Hollywood Producer of The Talk (Video)

An inspiring story of Filipino-American Marc Nicolas served as an inspiration to Filipinos worldwide especially for those who are working in the United States. He became a successful television producer after he first work as a waiter but right now is one of the famous names in Hollywood.

Marc Nicolas added another title to his growing list of achievements. He is one of the producers of the popular CBS TV Show, “The Talk” which is nominated in five categories at the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards which will be held this coming June 17.

The Talk

According to Marc Nicolas during an interview with ABS-CBN, he immigrated from the Philippines when he was just four years old. He became the only Filipino producer in “The Talk” and the only Filipino worker in the show.

Before pursuing his Hollywood dream in 2005, Nicolas worked as a pharmacist (–foul word(s) removed–)istant and as a restaurant cocktail server. His first big break was as a guest recruiter for “The Tyra Banks Show.”

Nicolas gives advice to those dreaming of a career in Holywood is to “always be a hard wrker. Juse because you work with celebrities don’t think you’re above them. Don’t think you’re above anybody” Nicolas stated.
