Phenomenal Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be fighting against the hard-hitting Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios this coming November, 2013 in Macau.
The news of confirmation was made by Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser. It was also reported and confirmed by ESPN.com and Boxing Scene website. According to the details provided by Koncz, the bout will be held at the welterweight limit of 147-pounds.
The November Pacquiao vs. Rios match will be held at the Venetian Hotel in Macau in November 24 (PST) (November 23 US Time). The highly-anticipated match will be the first for Pacquiao since his latest defeat against arch-rival Juan Manuel Marquez via a stunning sixth round knockout in Las Vegas last December 2012.
Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios was formerly undefeated with 31 wins but he came off from a unanimous defeat against Mike Alvarado last March dropping his record t0 31-1-1 with 23 KO’s.
