PMPC 29th Star Awards for Movies List of Awardees

The 29th edition of the PMPC Star Awards for Movies was held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City last Sunday night, March 10, 2013 honoring the best movies in the Philippines.

Topping the list of awardees were the “Alagwa” and “El Presidente” as the later bagged the Movie of the Year plum added with 6 more trophies for this year’s Star Awards for Movies.

The movie “Alagwa” won the Indie Film of the Year award, besting the Philippine’s official entry to the Oscars, “Bwakaw.” The ceremony were hosted by Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado and Kim Chiu.
